What is JEE Advanced?
The only getaway for aspirants to land on a seat in premier engineering institutes like IIT or any. It includes 23 IIT offering almost 10988 seats to the eligible candidates. The entrance exam comprises of two papers - Paper 1 & Paper 2 that is carried out in two shifts on the same day. It is mandatory for all the students to appear in both the papers in order to come as eligible for the merit list.

These are conducted by IIT Delhi and all the notifications and announcements are released by the exam authority.  

Eligibility criteria: Find out who can apply?

• Age Limit: DOB must be on or after 1st October 1995 (1990 for SC/ST/PWD)
• JEE Main Rank: Only top 2,50,000 candidates are eligible
• The maximum number of attempts: A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced in a maximum of two times in consecutive years  
• Qualifying exam: Class 12 Board Examination or any equivalent
• Year of clearing qualifying exam: 2019 & 2020
• Minimum Marks in the qualifying exam: 75% aggregate or top 20 percentile of the respective board
• Other requirements: Candidate must not be previously admitted in any IIT
